If the distributor is at the front, with the altenator on the left, then it is the early engine.

If the distributor is near No.3 cylinder & the altenator is on the right, then you have the later type engine. If you have this engine, then the A14/15 will fit right in.

Left & right is always taken to be as if you were in the drivers seat.
