hey, man you shouldnt try to fix a suspension problem like that if it has been damaged,( they should have know what was bent when they did the allignment!) with Macpherson struts nine times out of ten after a decent hit they bend, you would be better off fixing the problem rather than working around it. and if the damper insert hasnt been damaged then it would be cheaper to replace the strut than to stuff around with a possibly bent one, that is all easy work too, you could replace it in a couple of hours max. You could also make up your own camber/castor plate, but too much negative camber will screw your tyres, and it could handle worse if the rest of your suspension isnt set up sweet as well. well hope it goes all good for you and all that. chris.
