My car has some damage,too (from the previous owner, of course). The front tie rod mount is bent back a little and that is the easiest to see. The tie rod was bent,too. It looked fine,
until i compared it with the otherside.
My crossmember and part of the body near the crossmeber mount are a little tweeked,too. This was very hard to notice. I compared both sides going back and forth and i noticed a small
buckled spot on the body. I also used a tape measure to measure from some point on the rearend up to the crossmember and then compared the same points with the other side.
Try measuring across you engine compartment and under the car at various points. Maybe your whole front end is tweeked. A tape measure is not exactly a precision instrument, but it will
show if something is really wrong.
I started by just measuring the front and rear wheel base on each side and found a difference of almost one inch!!!
