Is the CA18DET all aluminum? I thnk the FJ would be too heavy for the light 1200.

In any case, I am doing the SR20DET into my '72 coupe. Being stateside, I don't have the FJ or CA options you guys have. Even at that my SR is from Japan (no RWD SR's over
here).

HP for an SR20DET should be comparable to Andrew's CA18DET. I'll run an T3/T04B hybrid turbo (bigger than the CA18's T25) at 15psi which should be good for 320hp at the crank.

In any case, you might want to deicide how much you can REALLY afford. Staying with stock DET's will get you the most power per dollar. Going with a CA18DE/SR20DE will probably
still be cheaper than a built A14.
