Perhaps you have noticed the fact thay there are no new "T" buckets on full registration anymore. The only ones tou see are cars that were first registered many years ago. We can get them registered on the "permit to move" scheme [Street rod registration] which allows some concessions.
Rods with repro chassis & glass bodies are subject to new car type reg's, but not necessarily ICV requirements as some design elements seem to be "type approved"
Once again, most are on the restricted 'street rod registration'

The plan to gather togerther several clubs is a good one as there is strength in numbers. You seem to be fighting the battle that we were first engaged in thirty years ago. Never give up, & good luck.
