one way to chnge the compression ratio is to 'dish' the pistons, in other words machine a dish in the the piston, some body posted a pic of their pistons(i think it was kegs?) that shows exactly what i'm on about.
I have a de-compression plate in my turbo motor,that is the cheaper equivenlent, i have also heard that an even cheaper way is to use 2 head gaskets but that leads to lots of problems.
but pro 240c is right you don't need to run 1 000 000 psi of boost to acheive good results, unless you plan t o-ring the block(well, maybe not that much boost)
the only thing i can suggest is talk to a mechanic that knows about turbos and see what they reakon. Research the topic, there has been so many posts about this, use the 'SEARCH' bar on the right.
