For $200, even the most ardent anti CA20 commentator would say "why not".

The CA20 bellhousing is the same as the CA18DE/DET, accept the gearbox is more like the L series boxes. So bellhousing clearance in the manual tunnel will be a tight fit.

If you are up to the wiring, clutch and fuel mods, you could get this going for a good price.

Nobody has done this that I've ever seen.

You'll need an engineers cert, bigger brakes.

I would still think $1500 would be about the budget required.

Any hydraulic clutch gearbox transplant into a RHD (right hand drive) 1200 means a few weeks of thought and trouble.
