does anyone know of a way to remove the paint from an alloy wheel without restoring to
beadblasting or paint stripper.i bought 2 14 inch mags to make up a set for my racing sunny, but the wheels i bought are painted
blue & yellow.the rear drums on the corolla i got the wheels off were fluro pink,so the owner of this car was probably colour blind.i think using paint stripper will eat into the alloy,& as these are supposed to be a cheap
solution, bead blasting would add too much to
the cost.i saw a show called wheeler-dealers on the discovery channel where the poor, long suffering mechanic cleaned up some porsche mags to look brand new,but i can't remember
what he used,& i can't find anything on the net about this show.anyone have any ideas.
