I finally got a set of replacement sporty seats, amazingly they mounted fairly easily, a few issues though...

1. b310's have weird uneven mountings and the outside is about 3/4" lower. this isn't really a problem.

2. seats are very near to the b pillar, it looks like i could make the seats mount about 1" closer to the inside of the car which would help here.

3. my legs just fit under the steering wheel, I'd like to get more clearance there.

4. my head is probably too close to the roof now, i'll probably need to do something about that.

what can I do to make these fit better?

should I make my own mounting rails and not use the datsun's or is this just how things work out?
