But its connected to the aerial remote wire and that is why the amp turns off when cd is selected.
Change the amp remote over to the correct wire on the deck and it will work properly.
Your deck should have 2 remote wires;
1 for amp etc
1 for aerial.
If it doesnt have the second remote wire - connect the amp remote the the accecories wire behind the deck.
