Hi all, my ute suffers bad with axle tramp, does anyone use some kind of tramp bars/rods? I thought of making a set similar to the early GT fords- brackets welded to the top of the axle tubes , pivot point on either chassis rail and a spring steel bar bushed at either end, bolted between the the chassis pionts and brackets on top of axle tubes. The problem here is the ute fuel tank is in the way. The other options are the old style tramp bars which bolt underneath the leaf springs , you know the chrome ones with the rubber stoppers that hit the underside of the chassis to stop tramp.- again the problem with these is ground clearance- mainly kerbs and shopping centre speed humps. Anyone have any other suggestions?
