well today i learnt that i was sold a dodgy motor that was in need of a re-build. even asking the seller if it was a good motor or not, he assured me it was in tip top condition and had a recent rebuild. today, car wont start. hrmz ok. symptoms. thick white smoke out of exaust, water under oil cap. "might have something to do with it overheating so much"

ok, ring around rotary mechanics and describe the symptoms. yep, rebuild is needed, blown water seal. ok, "how much" i ask, "ranges from $1500 to $5000 for parts, then theres labour". so yeah im pretty much stuffed.

well, i have no money left after spending it all on the conversion, and no car to drive now. ive never been so pissed off in my whole life.

anyway, i doubt i can get my money back for datnats entry, and accomodation is already paid for. and there is no way mozzi will make it there, so im am more then upset as most of you can imagine.

Does anyone have a spare seat in there datsun heading for datnats from melbourne, id still really love to attend. ill give you petrol money and i make good company.

anyway, i hope someone offers a seat. im off to ring the guy who sold me the engine and give him a piece of my mind
