Cheers snowy, I'm not too sharp on the eletrical stuff, but that makes sense. I pulled the pin out of the solenoid yesterday and it improved things, but Its still pretty lumpy... Could just be the cam Cos I bought it with a freshly built engine, rather than doing it myself, I dont know exactly what the specs are other than "mild cam"... I'll have to talk to the engine builder and see if I can find out. Fortunatley there is a job number on the head so it should be all good. Ive got a set of SU's for it but they are on an L series manifold. They're from a stanza sss I think, the air filter assembly looks like the stock sss setup, ugly and bright orange.
