I herd about this a few months ago before it was official, it's madness but unfortunately typical. If the wankers that run the state think they can get more people to a flower show they will always put motorsport second. Nothing surprises me anymore
Sad part is that most of the Aust Rally Championship guys I know think that this event is one of the best on the callendar. My understanding is that the WRC guys think the same. Another world class motorsport show that has been spoilt by do gooders.
