my 2cents worth.
People seem to get so cheap when they talk datsuns, i asked my mum to get me some new tailights for my sedan as a 23rd bday present, she said she would and after she found out they where $105.00 per side (Shock Horror!!) she refused and bought me a hundred dollars worth of clothes. I went on to tell her that she should try and buy a pair of tailights for one of the new monaro's out there, or maybe some of those clear ricer jobs for her starlet, and she would be lucky to get change out of 1k. but she just laughed. Go figure that! People have absolutely NO perspective sometimes. And when it comes to rebuilds, most of the cost is labour so the more you can do yourself the better off you will be.
