i wasn't having a go at you, just it's hard to get decent advice at toymods coz all the olskoolers like gianttomato and Ed etc don't reply once two or three ricers have added their little useless bit of (mis)info.
the steering consumed about 100 hours. that's trial fitting, cutting, checking, engineering, welding etc etc. it was A LOT of work and i wouldn't do it again unless it was REALLY worth it. then again - i don't have a shed and did the whole conversion in my carport.
:edit: sorry - i thought you meant the rack and pinion change. the tiptronic auto i bought as a kit and will be installed with the delco.
