Datsik I believe you are reading it as "if you put the clutch in to change gear when accelerating theres no vibration."
It happens when under no load. Basically thats anything where the car isn't accelerating or maintaining a constant speed.
Tailshaft man says put box higher.
Raising the pinion angle will equal doing this.
Any forwards load will cause the pinion angle to raise. No load keeps the pinion angle down - this is where we have a vibration occuring.
Its only noticable from 60kph. Well we know how a vibration from a wheel comes and goes - this gives reasoning to why the vibration might not be evident below 60kph.
Do you think basic physics of 2 unis on a shaft might have relevance to this ? I do and judging by your comment below, so do you.

I dont really think it would be out of ballance wheels. Ange said that when using spacers to angle the pinion, the vibration wasnt felt till round 80kph. That tells me that more upwards angle is required on the pinion.
1200coupe 0.002inch, I bet you were relieved when you finally found that. Bet the dial indicator was only brought out after every other 101 possible causes were checked.
