while i didnt have any special measuring tools.. i increased the pinion angle up in different amounts... the best result (not that is was a good one) ending up with a 5mm spacer in between the leafs and the front of the diff mounts..
the pinion angle was visually greater than the angle on the output shaft.. and yet the vibration was still there...
this is what has made me think the play in my output shaft doesnt agree with my angle... so trying another gearbox is what i plan to do but while it is out i might as well try to make more room to get the box higher... because once im done with the conversion i wish to lower the rear of the ute an inch which is going to make the angle greater again..
