I agree that 15" wheels need 195/45 tires, that is if you like the lowered look.

What helps with foot well fouling is increasing castor (bringing the hub centers forward).

This can be achieved inexpensively by adding more threads to your t/c rods so that you can tighten them/bring them forward/increase castor.
