As dodgeman said. If you don't know why you are doing it, then it's probably not money well spent.

By removing the hoses to the PCV valve, you are doing nothing to improve performance and everything to do with increasing emissions. The only positive side affect might be that you are replacing a tatty looking old hose with a flashy filter.

There are reasons that other people might not want to retain the PCV system. But with a stock engine you are not one of these people.

If you don't believe us, go have a read about what a PCV valve does, then decide if removing it is a good idea.
