I recently replaced my CA with one that was out of a U13 or something.. I just used the plenum and exhaust manifold off the RWD CA and had no dramas.. The only things you will need is a RWD alternator and alternator bracket, the FWD one that came with my engine was a lot different and had a smaller pulley, so i just used my old alternator. Also i had a small issue with one of the water lines from the turbo, the little block that sticks out of the block for the water line to bolt into faces a different way on the FWD block so i just did some jigging around with the water line and got it to line up.. Other than that there was no real dramas, i expected to have to change my sump to the RWD one but they turned out to be the same... I dont know anything about using the FWD manifold, but if your planning on using a computer and loom out of a silvia/180sx then i'd make sure all the plugs match up to the FWD sensors/TPS/idle valve etc.. it would be a pain to find a problem with it later on... Hope that helps..
