About the weights on the inside of aluminum rims: I've been told the same thing so many times (that it won't balance right unless weights go on inside and outside) that I bought an old-fashioned manual balancer and do it myself now.

Even worse, when they balanced my wheels on the "computerized" high tech balancer the 1200's steering wheel often shook and I had to take 'em back and have them do it over. Now when I do it myself, it's done right.
