Yep, go the press. Essential for strength of such a span. Otherwise I'd have to made it out of 3 or 4mm Aluminium.

The edge was all done by hand. Sharp edge of the bench for long sections then a bit of thick plate in the bench vice and some deft hits with a hammer.

Probably about 15 hours labour in design, prototyping and fit. Lots of sweat so far. I need to shorten the wiring some more too.
