So I went shopping this morning...

Seems a harmonic balancer puller / pulley puller isn't the answer to my problems...

I'm having trouble getting out the crank pulley bolt, I assume once that is undone the puley should come off fairly easily.

I'm just going to have to hit the breaker bar with a hammer, as if I try to turn the crank pulley bolt the whole crankshaft just goes around and around.

I imagine if I had a rattle gun life might be a bit easier.

I saw the 2 holes in the pulley and thought...hmmm maybe I can stop the pulley turning by putting something in thoses little holes either side of the crank pulley bolt....so I thought maybe someone else had thought of this and had made a tool I could buy, but I guess I was wrong.

I think now a short sharp wrap on the breaker bar with a hammer will loosen this bolt....anyone got a better idea (that doesn't involve me buying an air compressor and a rattle gun)
