120fly: it didnt start over a kebab shop and a chip shop. The straw that broke the camels back was when a bunch of lads of 'lebanese decent' bushed 2 life guards at north cronulla beach, they were 16 and 19 years old..... the assultants were heard yelling ' GET OFF OUR BEACH' to the lifeguards.

I do not condone any of the violent proccedings that took place over the weekend but understand that these kind of cowardly attacts have been going on for years and years....as long as i can remember! And the locals felt they needed to take the law into their own hands (wrong decision)!
The worst thing about it is that lables such as 'wogs', 'lebs' and the like are being used and theat people of arabic decent are being descriminated against when it is only a small slice of their comunity that gives them a bad name.
