Thats the problem with enthusiasts in cars very few spill out their knowledge after theyve retired and no longer use certain engines.
Unlike Bill Sherwood I think it is who covers the 4age performance build ups with plenty of detail, information and choices.
The only thing I know is that the A12 crank is forged compared to the A14 and A15 and some speedway guys put the A series crank into E15 engines after some machining to match the e15 and then resize the crankpin journals to fit factory motorbike rods and pistons.
One such reverse engineering possibiltity could be using the e15 crank for the A15 or the 90mm stroke crank from the e16. Both are supposed to be forged or is it the e15et turbo only?
Anyway does anyone know what happened to the twin cam head project for the A series? I think Feral is focusing on something else now and someone in Adelaide is continuing on to make it happen.
