It makes reference in the text to a 'cast iron' Ford crank, but I can't imagine that anyone, not even Ford, uses cast iron in crankshafts
Cast steel,... yes, but iron, well that's what the block is made from.

It's obvious that the Ford engineers were asleep at the wheel again when they designed these engines & it would seem that those clever engineers at Datsun have come to the rescue with a 'forged' steel crank.

If you want a quality high performance Ford engine,... fill it with Datsun parts.
