Ok dirts I'll tell you what I use : Tokico green's in the front (non adjustable) and Koni's in the rear. To adjust those as siad you undo the bottom bolt then bottom the shocks and spin them...rebolt.
Now the word of caution:
you really do not need adjustable shocks for a road car unless it goes to track days where you are using sticky tires. I can say almost 95% of the students I instruct at track days who have adjustable suspension have things waaaaay to stiff. This happens because stiff shocks give the car an instant feeedback so it "feels" good. The problem is the tires are breaking away a lot earlier then they would with a soft set-up. With the car set up that feels a little soft the tires will stay planted on the road there by increasing traction. The biggie is most people don't understand compression , rebound , high and low speed damping enough that they should be messing with adjustments.
Most people are surpised with how well our coupe rides at speed and the fact that as I go pounding over the FIA kerbing it doesn't upset the car.
When we first went racing we used plain old Monroe gas shocks which worked ok with our cut 240Z springs on the front and the stock rear springs. When I put on Nismo stuff we upgraded to the Tokico and Konis. To further add to this point one of the USA's leading builders of tube frame GT cars uses non adjutable shocks for his old 510; springs and shocks are matched becuase he is busy with customers trackside he just wants a well set-up car that needs no fiddling. (guess where I bought my current suspension)
So for you I would say just buy a good qaulity gas shock that matches the springs rates. For street use I always use KYB's the price is right and they do a good job for a street car , decent ride but still work well on the twisty bits.
