a quick question about 5 speeds. i picked up 1 several months ago, i have no idea wat sorta 5speed it is, how do i tell apart from putting it in gear. is there any visible signs???, it has had a bracket mnade up so it can be bolted up, if that helps at all. also when i fit the 5speed, do i need 2 get it engineered???, its for NSW.


It should have it on the casting of the box something like 56A or 60A.
Theoretically you would need an engineers certificate, I think , but who is to know the difference.
