I wouldn't expect them to do anything bad.

But if it's second hand parts..things can go wrong. To certify every bit of a second hand engine and give a 'like-new' warranty is very difficult. The risk is yours not theirs. You can always choose not to buy whatever it is, but they have to sell it to pay the bills and keep their business running.

Dodgy businesses never lasts long. These guys have been around a while, and are strong supporters of the Australian Datsun scene.
