You can keep the Electirc fuel pump thats not problem. The Mech pump goes much higher than 3psi depending on RPM. What You need is a fuel Regulator for your Carbs, so you can keep a constant fuel pressure supplied to them and not blow the needles of thier seats in the Twin Carbs. My regulator is set to 3psi which is about right some have it slighty higher or slighty lower.
