Yes, GM was/is partners with Isuzu. We got a 1975-1979 Isuzu coupe here badged as a "Buick Opel". We also got the "Chevrolet LUV" small pickup truck, which was simply an Isuzu truck with a new name tacked on.
Hey, what is that coupe that looks a lot like a 1200 coupe, but without the side scoops? You can see the red coupe in the movie "Karate Kid II" filmed in Okinawa. The lines are very much like a 1200 coupe. Was that a Gemini?
