Arent they all a or e series engines though?
I was speaking to an old guy at a commercial wreckers, i showed him the pics of the sump that sticks has, he remembers engines coming in during the early 80's with sumps like that, he cant remember what off though. He had ones with a winged section but its at the back of the sump, thats the 4x4 720 sump. Ive also seen a diesel 720 sump thats winged as the one in the first post but not interchangeable with the L or Z block. Maybe some sort of Urvan or C20 Van, series 1 or 2 bluey SSS's??
