well I have just bought a race head with twin mikunis and a hot cam so am thinking power should be about 100hp so thats why I planned to rebuild the 120Y brakes, but as mildman pointed out there is a silvia brake conversion plate available somewhere which would help heaps. My master cylinder looks new but I will still replace it for peace of mind.
I have 13" rims with 155/70/R13 tyres so I need to find out if the silvia discs will fit inside the mags but even if they don't fit a standard 120Y brake upgrade in good condition is a bit better than drums hey?
would I be wasting my time with the 120Y struts upgraded with lower firmer springs and shocks if I am hoping to better the cornering characteristics, the reason I am liking the 120Y conversion is the easy bolt up nature of the conversion
