Ah, but they are not better ... that presumes some kind of objective standard. The 1200 is really just a total package that's nice.
Objectively we can say the 1000 is lighter, the 1600 handles better, the B210 gets better fuel economy, etc. But drive a B110 hard, and you'll come to understand why we like them. If you drive a 1200 like a granny you might not notice its good points.
