If my info is correct, you are running a Datsun 60 series gearbox. If this is so, then sometimes you gotta look around & see what the others are running.
Much as it makes me gag to say it, it might be desirable to spend what it takes & get a Dellow kit & run a Toy,.... Toyo,.... Yoyo, Tota, ahhh, hell, you know what I mean.
The box itself is relatively cheap in the wreckers because they are so strong that hardly anyone ruins one, so demand is low. I think that they sometimes have trouble giving them away. Well, maybe not quite as cheap as that.
Anyway, thats what a racer of my aquaintance uses & try hard as he might, he hasn't busted it yet.
I heard that the young bloke went out a bit tentatively at first [very wise] & improved quite a bit during the day,.. & he had a great time as well.
