Does this new diff actually fit into the utes rear axle housing?
I'm wondering if it's an H165 diff from the larger Datsun/Nissan models. These used a square/rectangular flange.

Generally speaking, it works like this
H145. Fits 1000 & 1200 axle housing, has small flange & small bolt pattern.
H150 Also fits 1000 & 1200 axle housing, large bolt pattern, ususlly on a round flange.
H165. Does NOT fit 1000 & 1200 axle housing, has large bolt pattern on non-round flange.
