Hey Widget good to see you back,

The really good thing for you is that your car is new so the all the suspension, brakes, steering etc is in very good condition so that doesnt need any work to start with so your not starting behind the 8 ball.

The 16v is not an overly big engine or anything so I dont think you will have any really trouble.

I think there are some photos of 1200's with Toyota 16V in them so that might help.
