I find it easier to bleed brakes by myself than having anyone help ...

Here's my low-buck, high-success method:
1. Put a hose on the brake cylinder, put the end of the hose in a glass with a bit of new brake fluid in it. Don't let the hose come out of the fluid, this is the air trap so that it won't suck air back in.
2. Crack open the bleeder a bit
3. Open the driver's door, lie on the ground watching the glass, and pump the pedal by hand (a flashlight shining on the glass may prove helpful)
4. Pump until the air bubbles and dirty fluid stops coming out

Be sure to fill the reservoir frequently, if it runs out you need to start all over. If installing a new Master Cylinder, you need to start the process at the master, then go to back wheels, then front (farthest to closest order).
