Thanks for the replies guys but no one has answered my question. Have i done my maths right or am i seeing things. The GVM of a 76 1200 Ute is 1315kg. Minus 500kg for the load limit and you have a vehicle weight of 815kg. Times that by 2.5 and you get the maximum cubic centimetre capacity for a turbo engine which is 2037.5cc. Just over 2ltr. So why are so many people saying that you can't get them engineered? from what i understand an SR isn't even 2ltr, its like 1980 something cc not 2000.
