i went into the local fab joint in town today. they do truck extensions and all sorts there so i though they might be able to extend my tailshaft on site, but they get it done at a place called truckline in melbourne.
so anyway i was happy for them to take it and get ti sent away, untill i asked how much it might cost to get another 45mm put in.

i nearly fainted.....

$300 plus freight down and back... so probably closer to $400.
thats about $9/mm

anyway its got to be done, and after all, its only money...
