Anyway, One thing to check out is your timing, if it's too low with larger carbies (any carbies) you'll get the feeling like it's points and stuff are rooted with a noticalbe snap in acceleration from it's idle speed. My sedan is kind of wierd in that sense cos I when i change the points and stuff it makes my base timing seem too fast but I've already wound it as low as I can, but once it's settled it's lower again and I have to wind it up.

Yeah just another reason I should rebuild it and look at everything
