I have picked up the E15 dizzy from the wreckers and started to do the swap. I was following the wiki article as below. Then it occured to me - PROBLEMS!!!
If I follow these directions to the letter my gear will sit about 3mm too high compared to the original.
I have noted that in the article it says the hole on the shaft is too low for the one on the gear but mine is the other way around.
Now I have noticed that on the replacement dizzy from the wreckers, it has Astra N12 written on it. Is there a difference between the pulsar and Astra in this year model? I didn't worry about it at first because I just thought they were same dog, different fleas.
Does anyone have some advice for me.
