Just thought I would start a thread about that flash new "BOLT ON REPLACEMENT" part you just purchassed. Did it really do as the instructions say and just went on or was it a real pain in the BUTT. Here is my little tail

I bought a Autotechnica sports steering wheel to replace the Autotechnica wood grain (really sucks in the heat up here in Townsville) I already have. Asked the sales man, will it directly replace the Autotechnica wheel I already have, YES IT WOULD he replied. Got it home, removed the old wheel, and fitted the new wheel, and yes it fitted, WOO HOO. UNITL I tried the horn - NOTHING. Upon closer inspection it turned out that it was physically impossible for the horn switch to contact the earth, I tried the old switch set up but it didnt fit the new wheel so I had to solder on an extension so the switch could contact the earth. 5 minute job turned into nealy an hour. So what is your story GOOD OR BAD
