well guys the truth is because alot of us bathurstians are slackers and seem to think that we can just turn up to our own events on the day and enter there. myself included. you guys are also right in saying that it costs a lot to run this event, but that is partialy because of the damn council charging the club like a raging wounded bull. its around $5000 to run an event because of this, and to have nobody turning up to the event would be a real funds devastator.
it really is a shame i had some new advans to give a run and i was going to incar video tape my runs. i also wanted to see andrew's coupe having a run down the straight.
robert is justified in doing what he had to do as it would have left the club in a pretty bad position if we had of gone ahead with it.
the next event will be a esses hillclimb on the 29th of july. not as fun but still great
the next supersprint will be on the december 1,2 weekend
i might have a talk to the commitee and see if we can re schedual the event
