140J is 710. In Finland these cars are known as 160J because they came with L16 engine. I have a 1973 Datsun 160J (JPL710). We also had Datsun 160J SSS (KPL710) with hardtop body and L16-T engine (105hp/SAE).
J=rigid rear axle
P=L16 engine
L=LHD
K=coupe/HT

In US/Canada these cars first came with L18 and later with L20B. JDM version was known as Datsun Violet. It
