which engine would realistically be better an which one would i benefit from... the ca18det or the sr20det which will be put in my 1200 ute..... which one would be best suited to have plenty of power to play with, with out losin traction or havin many down falls, but still being able to haul ass...

You have a real problem there. You want plenty of grunt, but you don't want to lose traction in something as light in the rear as a 1200 Ute. That has to be a self contradictory statement.

Heres the deal. A near stock A14 will still be able to break traction in a 1200 Ute. Not as often or for as long as the others, but if keeping traction is important to you, then forget the CA & SR engines as traction with either will be a thing of the past.
