mik, just finished the 120y conversion.

found a few interesting things while i had everything apart.

stanza, 120y, and even 1200 drum brake front end lca's are all identical in every way.
(shorter lca's will just give you camber and castor issues without HEAPS of adjustment on both)

its actually the offset of the stanza disc/hub combo that throws the track out.

another thing i noticed is that the nice bit of negative camber gained from the stanza's is simply because of the angle of the stub axle on the stanza struts. (nothing to do with longer lca's or anything like that as previously thought by some).


switching to 120y/silvia uprgade will give you a track width that is an overall 15mm wider than standard. less negative camber than stanza's but it will still be negative nonetheless if you car is lowered. vented brakes, and a lighter front end setup.

120y struts will still need shortening if your car is lowerd quite a bit, same issues with stanza front end. wheel choice is narrowed with silvia uprgade as you have caliper clearing issues and so far ive found that 13" steelies dont fit. 14's do and i reckon 13inch alloys will fit with the right offset.

a few points which may help your decision.

120/silvia upgrade worked well for me, the main reason for me doing it was becuase of my front guard rubbing issues and it fixed that so im happy. and the track width on my front end is no longer an eyesore.
