Well a quick trip to the wreckers and picked up a 16" electric fan off some sort of holden comode for a sweet $20. Woohoo !
I've got to say that I'm interested in the whole idea of not having a fan at all. Although..... nah . Cancel that idea . A hot engine is not a cool idea.
So the next step I spose is to remove the existing(perfectly good) viscous fan. I have that all worked out....... just keep taking bolts out until it hits the floor. Next is to bend up some alloy for mounting brackets, and err... then ..... err then what?
