its not a bad thing to do but is by no means necessary.

just use bundy tube and cut it to shape then use efi hose clamps. i like to get mine from wreckers aswell

you've now heard it from two guys who do it on motors with nearly double the factory power and one of which is a show car.

don't get caught up on the little stuff too much or you will never get to drive it!
